From what I understand, the main difference is the USB port, which would make transferring files between the PC and the CVP easier. And maybe a little more memory for storing songs, but I'm not sure. At any rate, if it were me, and if I found a 207 much cheaper than a 208, I would buy it.

I suggest you to look at the specifications of the 207th and 208th models. Try these URLs:

http://www.yamaha-europe.com/yamaha_europe/english_master/10_musical_instruments/50_clavinova/20_cvp_series/10_cvp_series/20_200_series/CVP_207/index.html
(for CVP-207)

and

http://www.yamaha-europe.com/yamaha_europe/english_master/10_musical_instruments/50_clavinova/20_cvp_series/10_cvp_series/20_200_series/CVP_208/index.html
(for CVP-208)

Click "Features" and "Specifications" to see more info. You can also find descriptions of all other CVP models.
