Hi All

If any of you have seen the new Roland G70, then you may have heard some of the great backings it has.

Some of you may already be aware that a small group has been working on the G-70 styles, converting them to Yamaha format, tweaking the sounds and in many cases altering the sounds completely, and adding OTS.

Here is a link to the first two batches of styles.

http://psrtutorial.com/Files/KBrolandG70.html

Have a look around as there are many more conversions ie Technics KN 5000 KN 7000, Roland & Korg.

More to follow when they have converted the rest, so keep an eye on this site.

Hi, Midi Magic

I bought 2 weeks ago the CD- ROM that is offered in that web at the price of 24 $. It contains 6.117 STYLE FILES, more than 4.500 songs (midi files), VOICES, MUSIC FINDER Databases, REGISTRATION FILES, Factory Disks, and many other utilities really interesting. I have just received it last Monday, and is amazing.

The price is really cheap and helps to assure the maintenance of the web. As the CVP’s 3xx has USB to device, I will connect a USB Hard Drive with all those contents.

You can see an Index of the contents of the CD-ROM in the link http://psrtutorial.com/charter.html

Hi midimagic,
I loaded those G-70 styles down and tried them with my cvp307 but didn´t find anything exceptionell, bread and butter I would say. I like the Yamaha styles much more. F.i. the fill ins in those G-70 styles are not as good as the fill ins of the cvp. But it might be, that the converting process did something wrong to those styles.
On the other hand I like the Korg Pa80 styles on the psr-tutorial site, they are very inspiring and I added some of them to my userstyle archive after having tweaked them a bit.
I added some of them to the Tyrosworld forum, where you can download them...

Take care;)

Hi

Now I never said they were any good. In fact I have not heard the second zip file yet. I just thought I would pass on the link.
