I have several free samples from the books I have put together. What I have is easy classical sheet music with accompaning MIDI files and MP3s.

Please try them out - I would like some feedback!

Thanks!

First - I like the concept: $12.95 postpaid for a dozen or so RH/LH midi files with a matching book. Finding piano midi files with separate right hand and left hand channels is a rare occurrence.

But I doubt if I will buy them. I would be more interested in popular music and hymns with separate RH/LH channels.

Last – I find it curious that you mix printed sheet music with MP3 files; these are different tech levels. I would expect printed music with a standard audio CD, or (more preferable to me) pdf files on the CD, no book.

I thought long and hard about just making a CD with only pdfs and the audio files! It would be cheaper on my part to only provide the pdf, I just don't think it is as nice. I love sheet music! I have tons of books, and lots of printouts of pdfs, but they always go to the bottom of the pile next to my piano.

At first I only included MIDI files and since they are so small, I had them on a 3.5 disk. I had several requests for audio files, so moved to MP3s. I could also make straight audio files, they just take up more room and then I had to deal with putting audio and data files on a CD - I burned more coasters in the last few weeks than I care to remember!

Since there was no sound difference between the MP3s and the wma files (to my old ears), I choose MP3. I agree there is a technology difference between audio and MP3, but I hope people who have digital pianos will be comfortable with MP3s. My husband suggested offering a straight audio only CD as an option. What do you think?

As far a popular music versus classical, my rule is if they haven't been dead over a hundred years, I don't touch their music. I don't want to have any chance of copyright problems.

Anyway, thanks for your your reply!
