I would like to be able to make all my CLP 170 settings remotely using my laptop. I think this could be done using the USB connection or Yamaha could add a network jack and I could connect it to my home network. My cheap wireless access point ($100) is configurable via a web interface. There is no reason Yamaha couldn't provide an interface like this for very little cost. Many small microprocessors can host a web server interface and I'm sure the micro's on the Yamaha could as well.
My guess is that there just isn't much demand.
