Again, not a techi and have tried to read related FAQ sections etc. web links etc. so I apologize if this is a repeat. Is there a non-interactive software that will allow one to place a midi disc in a computer and have it perform some of the same learning features found in yamaha"s guide control or roland's digiscore? That is, allow you to do things such as view the score, see note/chord names, finger positions, control tempo, looping, etc. Seems most of the music notation software I have looked at do many more complex tasks but I am primarily interested in functions that may enhance learning rather than music creation or arrangement. I have a demo of Sibielus that does allow tempo control but not sure about other functions. I know power Tracks Pro. mentions "looping" when describing their package. However, generally, when reading about some notation software features I really don't understand and/or am not advanced enough talent wise to understand much of what is presented. Thank in advance.
