New style with Organbass

I have searched for a possibility to play the Hammondsounds in my CVP with Organbass. Here comes a new style I created for that. It´s very simple with only Organbass and Drums but it works fine with Hammondblues or Hammondfunk playing. Hope you´ll like this.:cool:

I downloaded your organbass file and noted that it is a Band in a Box style file.

However, when I tried to open it BiaB gave me a message saying it is not a valid file, and could not load it....????

I have BiaB ver 2004c.

Hi Ian

What makes you think this would be a BIAB style? Andreas has a Yamaha CVP, so I would think he's sharing a style that plays on Yamaha keyboards. Try it that way, and I think you'll have better luck.

Although I used BiaB for some time this Organbass Style is brandnew and I made it myself with the CVPs stylecreator. The Drums are from the Bluesshuffle style, the Bass is played by myself.

When I downloaded the file I saved it on my hard-drive and then when I opened the file it automatically started my BiaB program. Presumably it recognized the BiaB involvement in the file, or assumed it, and so associated it with the program.

I have now saved it to a floppy and unzipped it and it loaded into my CVP, OK. Thanks for the tip-off.

Yes, on your computer, Windows has associated files that end in ".sty" with Band In A Box. I think that BIAB automatically sets up that association when you install it. You can always right-click a style and choose "open with" if you want a different program to open it. One feee program that will open Yamaha style files is called MidiPlayer, available at svpworld.com. However, styles sound fairly bad when played on your computer. So you did the best thing, copy it to floppy and play it in your Yamaha CVP.
