Hey Folks

I've recently decided to pluck up the courage and buy a CVP-305m.

Have a look at the following link!

http://www.starland.co.uk/prodsum.asp?head=Pianos+%26+Digital+Pianos&sub=Pianos+with+Orchestration&pt=Entertainment+Pianos

The prices of this place are amazing! I've done a lot of hunting around and can't find anywhere that beats these prices! This is because Yamaha have a policy of not allowing dealerships to sell Clavinova's cross country. If you're in the UK and after a Clav, or anything else for that matter - seriously consider these people.

The customer service is also spot on - both pre and after sale!!

After a couple of visits for various things, I got to know a guy called Mark Waterfield. Fantastic guy, loads of knowledge and fantastic customer service. If you speak to him, tell him Chris Wood sent you!

Let me know what you think!

Happy Browsing!

I don't want to disappoint you, but Starland are charging £3425 for a CVP307. I paid over £200 less than that from a local main agent who, for that price, included delivery, assembly and testing (about a month ago)! The same company charges £2199 for the CVP305 (delivered) - or they were when I was doing my research in March & April.

At that time mail order companies were charging around £2000 for the 305 and £3000 for the 307 but for this sort of item I prefer a local dealer.

I guess Clavinovas are like most things - as soon as you take the plunge and buy one you see one cheaper!

Hello matey!

Always the way hey!

Although looking at it, the prices aren't that much more expensive. And I personally would rather pay that little bit extra and know that I've got a great level of support at the other end of the phone should things go wrong!

Cheers.

Chris.

Just a follow up to the above thread for UK buyers.
After much searching and worry I bought a 307 from SoundsMusical for £2889 inc delivery. Like most other Internet Dealers they are fully acredited Yamaha Dealers. I checked with Yamaha and there was no known problem with them.

The machine arrived 2 weeks ago and we are delighted.
You need to have 2-3 people available to get it into the house.
Assembly was easy and did not demand a second person although I would have used them if available.

I would happily buy from a Yamaha Dealer on the internet again
