Displaying Score while playing MIDI music from PC via USB?

Is there any way to enable the CVP 307 Scoring Display while playing MIDI files on a PC connected via the USB port to the CVP 307?

Nope. Not without downloading the song first then playing from the CVP's internal sequencer. The problem being that the CVP would need to "look ahead" at least one screen full in order to render each "page" of music. That would be a neat trick given the realtime nature of the midi data stream.

Alternatively, you can display the score on your PC screen as it plays provided you have a decent sequencer (i.e. Cakewalk, etc...)

Thanks for the reply Dan. I was hoping it might be possible since the lights above the keys light up while playing the MIDI file from the PC via USB to the CVP 307.
