Changing tracks error.....

Hello everyone :-)

I have a problem with my CVP 209. Everytime I change the track before finishing a song using the Yamaha karaoke floppy disks or any book disks, it will tell me that "there is no floppy" and wouldn't play anything - although the floppy still inserted in. The only time it doesn't do that is when I let song finishes. It seems that I can't stop a song in the middle, and change to a different track without getting the error.

I wonder if this is common to other CVP 200 series users?

Nice to see a fellow Calgarian in here. Did you get your CVP from St. John's?

I am not sure I understand your question. Could you go through it step by step so I can understand when the error is occuring? Then I'll try to do the same on our 209 here. If it is easier, you can let me know your e-mail and I'll give you my phone number. Then you can explain it while I sit at the piano.
