Hi All,
i'm new tothe forum and have a brand new CVP305.
Does anyone know how I could control the rotary speaker (on/off) with a footpedal?
Also, is there a footpedal bank to control the style variations? (Roland has something like this). This is nice because you can keep your hands free to focus on playing.

All of the Organ Flute voices have the rotor speaker built in to them and are turned from slow to fast by hitting the left foot pedal. If you want to set this for other voices, use Sound Creator.
Press Sound Creator button, tab to the Controller, #2 Left Pedal, Function should be set to DSP Variation (you have to scroll down).
Now tab to the Effect/EQ tab and change DSP to Rotary SP.
You can change the style variation via the foot pedal (along with a lot of other tricks) through Sound Creator and the Controller tab as well. scroll all the way down in the Function list and you will see the options.
You can get to the Controller from the Function button as well if you want to assign functions to different foot pedals. I think it is more straight forward to use Sound Creator.

On my 209 the left pedal controls the on/off of the voice variation (such as leslie on an organ) - not sure if the 305 operates in the same fashion. You can also change pedal functions by going into the Controller menu (for things like flipping through the style variations).
