Hi, guys! Wish I knew of you earlier!!!

Bought my CVP-109 in Jan. of '03 for $5,900+tax. It's next to top of the line, and it's just so beautiful - I love those curved lines and the shiny, black, classy cabinet - and sounds so wonderful. And don't you just love all those lights!

I was a new widow then, looking for things to do and hoping to develop any musical talent I might have. My mother, who began playing at age 40, found out she could have made a living at it, and my sister's a whizz at jazz. I've got a mathematical mind, my dad was an engineer... I do seem to pick up things more easily than most. And I even dabbled with guitar (love the bass) when I was very young.

However, like many things, it's just sat, while attending to a life alone... managing a big house/lawn, etc. and getting online with my computer. Plus no teacher here in my tiny town of 2,500 souls.

Now, desperate to be near more opportunities, I've just purchased a new home at a place for 55+ ('ers) in Orono, ME, and think I don't really have room for it! Plus what it might cost to move it!? Plus, I have NO TIME!!! - I'll be settling and moving within about 6 weeks!!

HELP! Anybody know how outdated this model is by today's standards? I remember, when I bought it, the newer year's verision had a larger screen, but this one was tops in speakers and sound, and I liked it much better.

It has all of the whistles and bells, and does just about everything, except dance... What about what to do with it? Can I sell it? ...Fast? Should I donate it? Other ideas? Any and all comments/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I hate to give up on my dream, but technology moves fast (as well as the years!), and I know I'll be concentrating (still) on getting up to speed on my computer and taking classes at the university, where I'll be moving, for the immediate and near forseeable future!

Thanks!
