Greetings all, and thank you for this great forum and wonderfull posts.
I have narrowed down my digital piano selection but have one last question I am hoping somebody here might provide some details on.
Ive been learning the piano for awhile and am ready to step up to a good digital but I cant decide between the Yamaha P-250 or the Yamaha CVP 207. They both seem to be fine piano's from what I have read. My difficulty is due to where I live, I will have to buy one or the other sight unseen through the mail.
I like all the extra options that are available on the CVP series but when I am honest with myself, I realize that all I really need is something with realistic piano touch and sound. For this reason Im leaning towards the P-250 since it is substantially cheaper and will cost quite a bit less to have shipped up here (the great white roadless north).
Does anybody here have experience with the P-250 verses the CVP series? Im wondering if the touch and acoustics are similar between the two (P-250 vs the CVP 207 or 209). I would truly love the CVP series and hope to get one someday. Im just thinking that if the sound and touch of the P-250 is nearly the same then it would be great to just get one of these for the next 5 years or so.
Any advice would be apreciated. Regardless of which choice I make I have found a good dealership in BC Canada that will ship either version.
Thanks for the advice.
