Just bought CVP-208 in New Jersey!

I just bought a CVP-208 from a local dealer here in New Jersey for my kid. $5k for everything (tax & delivery) plus 2 free piano lesson. It will arrive in two weeks since the unit is being shipped from California (it's so new that there is nothing available in the East Coast yet).

Has anyone here bought an CVP-208 series in the U.S.A.? If so, what has been your experience? Thanks!

$5000 for a CVP208 is an outstanding deal. Were you carrying a gun??
The local monopoly here in FL has a CVP207 on the floor with a price tag that reads...
Regular price- $8999.95, "Event" price - $7999.95.

heh.. that's pretty expensive.. from what i saw @ the yamaha showroom, the CVP 206 is going for $SG 4,200 and CVP208 is going for $SG 5,200 (US$2,974.82)....

so.. yeah... wonder why they price the pianos the same, while the currency is in the host's country's value...

I just bought a CVP-207 for a total of $6,300 CDN ($4,569.34 USD), which includes taxes, delivery & a free microphone & stand :)

Can't wait to get it.. hopefully either tomorrow or the day after :D
