In February 2005 when I bought my CVP I was given a diskette with vocal impressions, all Christmas songs. They have been a lot of fun. Does anyone know where I can get more of these? These are so much fun at family gatherings, etc. The children especially love them.

I have searched the Yamaha Music Soft web site, and have found nothing else identified as "Vocal Impressions".

As an example, the Vocal Impressions version of The Twelve Days of Christmas modifies your voice from the microphone a different way for each new gift, making your voice sound like twelve different people for the twelfth day’s list of gifts.
The other numbers have various fun voice effects.

I am hoping that somebody knows of other discs with similar vocal effects.

hmmm ... After reading your post I went through the bag of goodies that my dealer gave me and I also have the Christmas disc that says "vocal impessions" on it. I didn't even really know I had it. My wife and I are going to play it and check it out tonight.

I don't see it anywhere on the Yamaha web site. I also have a printed catalog that the dealer gave and it's not in there either.

Maybe it's just a promo item not available for sale??

These disks are created for showroom demos only and have no commercial value as far as Yamaha is concerned - so you won't find any to buy. A similar thing happened with the "Follow the Lights" demos, although they were such a hit, Yamaha finally got smart and produced the "Starlights" collection.

There is at least one other vocal demo disk floating around. I'm not sure the exact title (Vocal Demo Disk 1?).

Songs are:
1. Lean On Me
2. Falling In Love
3. Love Me Tender
4. Somewhere Out There
5. Anything You Can Do
6. Chipmunk Song

I may have "Disk 2" somewhere. I believe it had "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and others. I'll look at home later.

These are demo disks and so I have no problem sharing them. Send me a PM.
