Hello,

I finally bought a CVP-307 on 24th and it is being delivered today :D. Thanks to all the people who posted their experiences which helped me burn a hole in my pocket ;). Can't wait to lay my hands on it. Being a very very new beginner to the piano and the clavinova world I am sure I will be having lots of questions in the future.

Woo hoo ! It is here and I have been banging on it for the past hour or so ! Unfortunately I have to go out !

Is there a way to get the songs to play continuously without having to select one after another ?

Has anyone tried connect a CD rom and tried to use clavinova as a music system ?

Yup on both. If you search the forum you will see the answers to both have been discussed in the last month or so.

1) To use the CVP like a midi juke box. Hit direct access then repeat. When the menu comes up pick either all or random and the CVP will play all songs in the current folder either in order (all) or randomly. So the idea is to build folders sort of like a "play list".

2) To hook your CD player up to the CVP just connect the headphone out of your CD player to the 1/4" line in. (you will need a few adapters available at radio shack if you don't have them laying around). Make sure you put the line swith to line (no Mic). If you find the thread where this was discussed you will see a whole bunch on this and what people have done with it.
