FAQs problem?

Strange. I have not been able to get into the FAQs section tonight. I was just in it this morning and all was fine. Tonight I keep getting redirected to another FAQs search site??

Yep, it looks like some links have been hijacked somehow.

And it happened within the last few hours. Earlier today I used it to answer pianomomma's question.

Some other links are affected as well. Arghhh - some people out there have too much time on their hands :mad:

Hi All

I have run Ad-Adware, Spybot and MS Anti-Spyware programs and all is clean.

Then I upped the security on my IE settings:

Tools - Internet Options - Security - Default Level

I took it up to "High" then back to Medium. All options now are either Disabled or Prompt.

At least I can now get this far.

Only thing now is that it will not automaticaly foward me on.

Just checked and still not working.

Is this an accidental thing or did someone hack into the site? The forum part seems to be OK.

Mine seems to be ok at the moment.

One thing I did do, was to add *.seach.biz.tm to the Resricted Sites" in Tools - Internet Options - Security

But, having taken it out, to prove it, it is still ok :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

I added it to my restricted sites, but it still goes to it when I try to do most of the links from the Home page, it just goes to a different page within the seach.biz.tm site.

Wow! I can't imagine why in the world anyone would want to hijack our site. But it's all fixed now.

I don't know if it is part of this problem or not but I got a couple of strange emails today from cvpug. The emails were just like the ones we get when someone replies to a topic you participated it, but they referenced old topics that do not show any new activity??

Anybody else get those today?

Hopefully it was just dust from chasing the Gremlins out of the system.
