Before deciding to choose a cvp 303 (or 305) I was looking around for wich keyboard to buy and I was leaning towards the Yamaha S90ES, so I discovered that Yamaha is working on a strong integration between computer music software and their digital pianos.
I was then disappointed to realize that the clavinova series is not supported up to now, as far as I understand, in this effort made by Yamaha.

You can check the very interesting content of this initiative at:

http://www.studioconnections.org/faq/index.html

You can read, for example:

"STUDIO CONNECTIONS is the name of an initiative that is lead by Steinberg and Yamaha. The initiative intends to create standards for totally integrated system environments using software and hardware products."

"The first Phase of Studio Connections was Total Recall, Audio Integration is Phase II."

"Audio Integration allows you to use a Studio Manager Component (software editors) as a VST instrument or a VST effect by using the "External Instrument" function which is new to CubaseSX3.1/Nuendo3.1."

"You can save and recall all settings of your hardware products and software products by opening one integrated file in a DAW such as Cubase or Nuendo. Also you will have instant and organized access to hardware editors."

Do you have more info on cvp series about this? Do you expect Yamaha will support cvp series on this?
