Hello,
I am new to this group and this is the first time I am posting a thread. My question revolves around purchasing. I am trying to get the best price for a CVP307 for my three children with keeping in line with Yamahas purchasing practices. The pricing is a bit high for me right now and I only one dealer in the area to choose from. I really would like to purchase from them, but without at least having another dealer around to bounce off of, I will ask all of you what to do. I have tried calling other dealers from other states, but nobody will talk to me over the phone. This is frustrating to say the least. Price given is about 7.3K. I can only, based on financial situation do something around 6K.
Has anyone from this group ever purchased a CVP from Michigan before? or has anyone went to another close State to purchase one, or even via mail?
What are each of your recomendations for me?
I am reading in this group that some people have purchased a new CVP for 5K or a little bit more? Is that true without invalidating any warranty with Yamaha?
I guess in short, I just may not have enough to do this for the Children.
All three of my children ages, (8,6 and 6) have been learning music under a Yamaha sponsered program call the Yamaha Music Education System, Junior Music program. The oldest has been playing for almost 3 years now and the twins for a couple. They are doing quite well and do play on older Clavinovas at the school. We currenly have one acoustic piano and a less expensive Yamaha keyboard ($500.00).
Any input to hopfully get me over the hill would be greatly appreciated.
Also, feel free to give me other advise about Music for my children. I am a true believer in this period.
Thanks To All In Advance.
George
