Here comes "Mercy, mercy, mercy" with me on Saxophone. I took a SMF (Arr.George Tassara) from the web, edited it on my CVP and used it as Playalong with my Saxophone. It was my first recording with my new equipment, which was less than 100$. I have used the free Samplitude V8 SE sequenzer software, a M-Audio Transit USB to Audio and a AKG C1000S Mic. The Sax was amped through the CVPs Mic-in. I play a Selmer III Alto Sax.
You will find the song in my Yahoo briefcase

Go to http://briefcase.yahoo.com/menschzumensch

you only have to open in "My documents" the "Clavinova and Sax" folder. There it is.
If it doesn`t open the first time click several times (or click "update" "aktualisieren" in german), it will work.

It took 3 attempts to open the file, but it was well worth the effort! Great job, Andreas - really enjoyed it!!

Andreas,

Very nice layout and the sax really fits the mood. I really enjoyed the more times I listened.

Thanks for sharing.

Tell me a little more about your setup. Are you capturing audio via USB to a PC recorder?

Hi George,
thanks for your nice reply. But I cannot say more than I have written on my setup here. Yes I record via USB to my Notebook, see details in my original post.

Hi Andreas,

This is great. A very nice mix of real sax and midifile. Also interesting to read how you did it. I searched for the free Amplitude sequenzer, but couldn't find it though Google gave many hits. Could you give the website for downloading?

Bye,
Jaap CVP 307.

Hi Jaap,
thanks for listening to my recording. The Samplitude sequenzer isnīt available on the net. It was a special offer to readers of the german magazine "Keys" and came as an add CD with the May issue this year.
