How do I move my CVP700 out of state...

I am moving from the Chicago area to the Las Vegas NV area. How do I safely move my CVP-700 baby grand as I don't have the original box. I know it can't stand on it's own legs. so how does one do this?

I'd recommend reading the manual and disassembling it. I suppose you could hire someone to build a crate for it. Sounds expensive. You might ask a local dealer if they have a CVP-GP box lying around. Get extra insurance for your moving van.

if it were me, but i'm a little wacky, i would just bundle it up ( after taking it apart) in a bunch of blankets and have the movers place it gently in the truck. . Better if you could transport it yourself. It traveled in a ship, packed in styrofoam, so it's not THAT fragile.
