A friend recommended this site - they have a number of free resources, including a Jazz Handbook, to help teach improvisation. Mine just came in the mail today. Maybe someday I won't be an ignoramus :D

I agree this is an interesting site with tons of resource material.

I just finished a 5 day jazz workshop and the very excellent instructor/musicians highly recommended the material available on the website.

I am presently awaiting my copy of the free handbook.
