Oh dear, An oil lamp leaked over the treble keys of my cvp87a. After wiping up the oil all notes worked ok but with some notes held down the adjacent keys are dead. The fault is symetrical for all octaves. I cleaned the oil off the rubber contact strip and circuit boards below the keyboard but when reassembled the fault is still the same. I checked all the diodes on the circuit boards and all are ok. I re-initialised to factory settings but still same. Occasionally when playing, a note will sound much louder than it should. The clavinova is about 10 years old and worked well before the spill...can anyone help please..Will from Reading in UK..
