Hi all, I am debating whether to go with the 207 or 208.. it seems that there is very little different between the 2 (e.g., USB, several more voices.. ), so I am leaning towards the 207.

I am having some difficulty determing what is a reasonable price?? I looked over the excel file with the purchasing history, but it is somewhat out of date (latest prices from Jan 03), so I am not sure what a "good deal" would be for the CVP-207, especially considering that it is being phased out... I would really appreciate any advice as to a good price!! I am planning to purchase it either from Keyboard Centre in Canada or online. Thanks much!

I had a similar dilemma to you.

I recently bought a CVP 208. It's great, I believe that some of the styles and voices have been slightly upgraded but the thing that swqungit for me is that I got the 208 for less than the best price I could find for a 207!!!

Only other difference is the USB port for transfering dta etc, depends on how you intend to use the unit.

Hope this has been of some help.

I got my CVP 207 for $5,500 CDN (3,972.00 USD) . . . I don't think there's much of a difference between the 207 & 208.. It's not a big upgrade, so go for whatever you can get the best price for.

Getting a couple extra voices when you have almost a thousand already doesn't really appeal to me :)
