Hi!
LOL. I actually heard someone earnestly say "I English speak good also" once, and he was very proud of it.
To be fair to the poster, (if there is one - it does sound a bit like a newsgroup crawler or whatever they're called), it could be he's wondering if there is a separate forum here where the members can introduce themselves. Like the thread we had a while back where we were invited to do so (I think scubacpa started it?).
But I don't know why it would be so cool, or why he would need it so much.

I was not sure if it was joke, a mistake, or what. This is an international forum and I realize English is not the first language for a lot of our members. I don't want to be one of those arrogant Americans who expects everyone to learn MY language or don't talk to me.
I travel a lot and I've seen some real ugly Americans start yelling and screaming when they are in a foreign country and the waiter or hotel clerk speaks broken English and they are having a hard time communicating. I feel like knocking them in the head and saying "you are a visitor in their country - have some manners".
I could just imagine if I tried to do a post on a French bulletin board using what I have retained from my two years of high school french 35 years ago. I'm sure the response would be the same ... "huh ????"
