View Full Version : Adding Songs To Music Finder
I have had my cvp309 for about 2 years. Is it possible to obtain addional songs? My Yamaha salesman says that the 2314 or so that came with the piano is all that there are. Any comments?

You sure can. In the music finder menu hit "record edit" and a screen comes up that will allow you to construct your own record and then save it.
Just to claify. These are not really "songs" they are suggested voices and styles to play certain songs with.
I don't have the skill to make intros and endings. I wondered if anyone other than Yamaha produced such things.
Thanks for your response Gary.

No skill required you just choose from what they already have.
Maybe I'm not quite understanding your question. Maybe you mean additional "styles" ?? If that's the case the answer is Yes they can be purchased. There is a guy on e-bay who sells a CD that has 57,000 styles for $25. Search on "Clavinova Styles".
Thanks Gary...
I guess that "songs" was the wrong word. I use the music finder for most of my playing and of course, it lists "songs". I can play most of the Carpenters songs with the Rainy Days and Sundays......"song" from the finder.
I play by ear and have no real skill with my left hand except for playing the correct chord. That is why I find this to be such a great instrument.
I'll check out the e-bay seller.
Thanks again
