Software that blocks internet crud like popups, cookies, spyware, adware, etc. sometimes has the effect of also blocking your ability to log on to this and some other boards. I use a package called Ghostsurf that does this - you appear to be able to log on, but when you try to post it says you aren't. You can sometimes configure such software to accept specific sites, or you can just turn it off when on cvpug.
