I can buy a 2 year old CVP103 (good condition) for 60% of the price of a new CVP203. What's better value?

I've looked around for info on depreciation of a CVP but no success. Any guidelines? A real piano hardly depreciates at all year to year but electronic equipment gets technology upgrades all the time so I don't know how to guage this.

My other option at the price of the old 103 is a new CLP110.

All guidance appreciated!

I believe the CVP103 is a predecessor of the CVP201, which is a lower model then the CVP203. How much are you getting the CVP203 for?
Not knowing the price difference, I would say that the CVP203 would be a better value. Actually, the 203 is better value compare to its lower model CVP201. It gives you more features/better diaplay for a little more money.

Also, keep in mind that since the CVP203 is new model, it will have the full Yamaha warranty (1yr labor, 5yr parts). They are generally reliable but its just a peace of mind to know that you are covered in case something goes wrong.

As far as depreciation is concerned, I feel that Clavinova, and especially the CVP series, has the lowest depreciation among all the digital Pianos.
