Here's the straight scoop.
I contacted Yamaha customer service about the stuck key via email. They immediately sent out an entire keyboard replacement. Seems the policy it to replace the old GH keyboard with the new improved one. This is a one time replacement.
I offered to replace the keyboard myself if they would send me instructions on taking apart the CVP 700. They did send me part of the service manual the explains step by step how to replace the entire keyboard.
In short Yamaha stepped up the plate for me and replaced the keyboard without fee and shipped the new keyboard in less than 7 days.
This is why we have Yamaha equipment. Excellent customer service for us.
