Hello folks:
Anyone here own both a 300 series CVP and a Tyros2. If so I'd like what you think of the T2 vs the 300 series other than 88 keys and graded piano action.
thanks

Hi,
I don't have a CVP, but I cancelled my order of a CVP-309GP when I discovered I didn't support new samples. I bought a Tyros 2 to wait for the new CVP line or the CGP-1000.
I compared the Tyros 2 to a CVP-309GP side by side connected to the same amplifier. The 88 key piano feeling is really great, but regarding sound and features, Tyros 2 is way better.
I hope the new CVPs or CGPs have a Tyros 2 inside, including multi pads, pitch bend and modulation wheels, samples support and hard drive support and I will be the first to buy it!
Now there are some amazing piano samples that you can buy for Tyros 2!!

Nick:
That's saying a lot for the Tyros 2, you picking that over the 309GP. Too bad the T2 doesn't come in at least 76 keys, portable and a weighted action. I'd buy one as soon as I could. I have a CVP 307 as well as a PSR 3000 and like them both very much one for home use one for gigs. Just wish Yammie would make a 76 keyboard that's portable and has all the features of the T2 or the CVP 307.
I'd like to think the next generation of CVPs would include the features you mentioned.
