We brought a CVP307 for our church in early December. It is great, but I would like to see the following enhancements.
1. A multi-gig hard drive. I would like to keep all of our midi files on the hard drive instead of having to use a USB Jump drive.
2. Replace the smart card drive with a USB connection or CD drive. The smart card is outdated.
3. A built in direct box with a male XLR plug and 1/4 inch jack so it is easier to connect to a sound system. We have to connect to a microphone plug-in because we move the CVP307 on our platform. I have to use a direct box to connect to our sound system (XLR) and a monitor (1/4 inch jack).
4. Easier access for midi and other connections.
5. Improve vocal harmony. It seems the harmony is not occuring at all times.
6. Play back only through headphones option while connected to sound system. The sound is played backed through sound system when it is connected. I would like to leave everything connected but only hear through headphones before service starts. There may be a way to do this, but I don't know how to do it.
