As you may have noticed, the CVPUG website has been updated.

1) The Forum has been upgraded from vBulletin v2.28 to vBulletin v3.6.4.

2) A new content management system (CMS) for the non-VB pages has been installed and all the old pages converted to it.

3) A new template has been overlayed both the VB and CMS pages.

If you enter the Forums and are not a registered user, you will see "Locked" icons next to each Forum category. Do not worry. You can still browse and search all the forum discussions. However, you must be a registered user and logged in to post to forum discussions. Once logged in, the "Locked" icons will disappear.

You should find the new website more reliable and better functioning than the prior version, though I am sure the look and feel of the old one, as well as some of its features will be missed by many. Unfortunately, I was unable to convert the old website template and features to the new VB version and CMS we are using.

Hopefully the new site will be more difficult for spammers to abuse, though eventually I think we may have to appoint a few Moderators to help monitor and prune the forum of errant posts.

I would appreciate CVPUG users to be on the lookout for links, features, and anything else that might not work. You can reply to this message with your comments and notices or post separate messages to the Website Feedback category, which I subscribe to.

Thanks much.

Hi!

It doesn't remember me even though I've ticked "Remember me". I have to log in manually every time.
