CVP-98 Windows XP MIDI problem

Hi,

I just started using my CVP-98 again. I have SoundBlaster Live card and Windows XP and Sibelius as the notation program. The moment I connect my PC to CVP, it prints a message on the screen: "HOST is offline!".

I have dual partitions on my PC. The other partition is Windows 98. When I boot in Windows 98, CVP removes that message and all the software works.

I want to get rid of Windows 98 and move on to XP. Is there any solution for this? Has anyone else seen a similar problem?

Sounds to me like XP is not seeing the CBX drivers. Had you loaded them in for XP?
