While talking to a sales rep of a large dealership a couple of days ago, he indicated that the 400 series of Clavinovas will very soon be available, within a few months. Has anyone else heard about this?

What is the time interval between two series for Yamaha?
300 models were launched in 2004, that's a long time for that segment, isn't it?
I just bought my cvp307, and asked my reseller your question. He thought there will an update only next year.
But that's a reseller, so who knows?

My piano dealer told me the same information you posted. The new CVP might be presented to dealers at the International Musikmesse Frankfurt 28-31 March 2007.
Hope the information is right, because I impatiently waiting for more than a year now to buy the successor of the CVP 307 !

I think the source is very good. The owner of the dealership, a large one, was standing next to us and in on the conversation.
