On the Main Page there is a new Login Box on the right-side. I had problems with it when we first went live with the new site design, so I took it off. Sometimes it would work for me, sometimes it wouldn't log me in no matter how many times I tried.

It all has to do with cookies and honestly, coding cookies or fixing programs and their implementation of cookies has never been my strongest talent.

Today, I decided to try again. I logged out of the Forum, deleted my cookies, and logged in using the new Login Box. To my surprise it worked. I logged out and logged in multiple times and it's still working, so I'm letting everyone else try it too.

Let me know if it works for you or not. Log out of the Forum, delete your cookies, and try again if it's not working for you.

Hi!

It worked absolutely perfectly for me the first time, without having to delete any cookies or anything. And I was having problems before as you know. (I did delete the cookies then though). And I'm using Vista.

And I really really like having the PM summary and the options including New Posts right next to it. :) So it's just the ugly black background of the box that perhaps should be improved....

It also worked perfectly for me, not once but twice today, and I haven't logged in for about a month, nice improvement.

That was the way that Login Box module came, but it was easy for me to change.

The Login Box is no longer dark, but light grey.

I, too, appreciate the new login box and its light grey color (that changed suddenly while I was connected).
A particular praise also to the new position of the "New Posts" link, much easier to reach than in the old version of the site.

Strange, the log-in box worked yesterday. Today, it keeps telling me to log in. When I click on the forums link however, I'm still logged in. Using XP with Firefox 2.0.0.1.

Even stranger: it works perfectly today. Probably my PC had a bad day.
