Disks not working

This is my first message to this forum, so I hope I'm doing this right!

I use my CVP 107 all the time for my work, but recently I find the disk drive failing :-(

I put the disk in and it either doesn't acknowledge it or it turns off soon after it starts playing - sometimes with the message 'no disk'. This happens whether I'm just playing back a midi or whilst recording.

I have tried various floppies and different midis to no avail. I have also tried resetting the clav.

Not sure what to try next. I'm lost without it. Any ideas?

You need to have the disk drive replaced. My disk drive on my CVP-96 was replaced at the two-year mark. Contact your dealer to have it replaced -- your warranty should still be in effect.

At least it doesn't seem that I will have to buy a new Clav!

That's reassuring......not that I don't want a new Clav, but I suppose I have to feed the family first :-)
