Hi everybody,

After shaving money for two years, I will finally order a digital piano. I will go for the CVP-303 (the best I can for the money). Two dealers in Germany offer me that model now for approximately 1900,0 € (inclusive headphones and chair). I think this is cheap, as some other stores sell more expensive or have the model no more available. However, I am still not sure...

The new CVP 400 series will be in Germany at the end of this month, and here come the question. Is that a good price for the CVP-303? Should I just wait for the new CVP 400 to see if the good-and-old CVP 303 go a little bit down with the prices?

I am sure I won't need the new characteristics of the CVP-400 (the CVP-300's are more than enough for me), but I would hate to see the prices falling down after shaving money for such a long time.

Any suggestion is really welcome!

Thank you very much in advance.

From my experience with one dealer here in the US : When I was looking, the CVP 3xx's had already been out for a long time, and the prices on the 2xx series they had left in stock dropped only a teeny bit.

Hi Tomz17,

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I was thinking about, and I will be for the CVP-400 series, to have a better position to compare both models. If the CVP-400 are just a little bit more expensive, it's probably worthy to go for them, even thought the minor improvements of the CVP-400 over the CVP-300.

Regards!
