Dear All,

We are still looking at buying a CVP digital piano. We looked at many, many options, and many dealers.

This is the dilemma we have right now:
1. Pick up a CVP 207 for about 3000 Euro's
2. Pick up a CVP 700 for about 3500 Euro's

From a price point of view they are about the same.

For the additional 500 Euro:
+ the CVP 700 is nice black finishing
+ the CVP 700 is a nicer shape
- the CVP 700 has less features ( but most of time we play piano only anyway)
- the CVP 207 is a 'newer' model as the CVP 700 was based on the 100 series?
- the CVP 700 has a smaller display then the CVP 207
= both have the possibility to connect to XG work, etc.

What would the your recommendation be?
Thanks in advance for any information you might have !

Regards - Geert - Brussels

Hello Geert,

The CVP207 has the best piano sound (I think) because of the newer samples. I'm not sure about the keyboard. The keyboard of the CVp207 is a GH2-keyboard and I think the CVP700 is GH-keyboard.

But I you're going to play only piano for most of the times why don't you conisder a CLP?

Kind Regards,
