Finger Cybal

I'm working on a piece that calls for a finger cymbal. I have not been able to locate it on the CVP. Does anybody know if there is one? I can't seem to locate my list of the voices that are in percussion or special effects.

Hi!

There isn't one. I would substitute for the Jingle Bell sound (B4 in the Symphonic Kit), and/or the Rama Cymbal in GM & XG, Percussive, depending on the sound I wanted.

When conducting bands and orchestras I felt that a triangle was a good substitute for the sound of finger cymbals.

Thanks for those suggestions. I think it was the triangle I found the other day. It will do nicely. The piece is also scored for handbells. For those I use the Christmas Bells and adjust the brightness a bit.
