Accompanying style stops after 2 bars

I created a piece of music (Lady in Red) on a computer and transferred the midi file to my CVP207. I then added an accompanyment style with fills etc. and saved it on the CVP.

However I find that if I just select the tune and play it, the accompanyment stops after 2 bars and the tune continues on its own. But if I select the CHD screen under Song Creator and then play the tune, then the accompanyment continues through the whole piece with changes and fills etc.

Any suggestions?

Answering my own question - after spending some time poking about, I discovered the "Expand" button on the "CHD" screen. That did the job - and as with much stuff, the manual doesn't really explain this.

Yes I realise that - I did ask, but unfortunately after nearly a month, there was no answer. Of course I don't expect people will know answers to all the questions though.

I think the frustrating thing is that when you're at the CVP "messing about" there are things shown on the screen where the manual gives you no clue as to what they are. Mainly I'm finding in the Song Creator parts. I haven't even tried Style Creator yet.

I'm not complaining about the instrument though - after well over a year, I still think it is a fantastic piece of kit.
