Does any one know, when is the 409 Grand piano likely to be produced.

Hi!

There isn't going to be a 409GP. Instead there's the new CGP1000 - which is basically the same: a 409 in a grand cabinet. Only, it is a real cabinet - the same they use for the acoustic grands.

I've just noticed that last month they DID release a 409GP after all, in spite of previously having said that they would not be doing that but move that form to the CGP line instead... http://music.yamaha.com/products/main.html?productId=1009669&hierarchy_id=null

The 409GP cabinet is not the true Baby Grand like the CGP1000 and may not be available in the USA or other countries. Rather, it looks like the smaller, shorter version.

Exactly. That is what the 309GP looks like as well. So it was a surprise when they originally said there would be no 409GP. Meanwhile, the new CGP line has not had any new products added.
