Is it possible to direct CVP's internal browser on site other than Yamaha one?
I'd like to publish my MIDI files somewhere on Internet and allow other people to download them directly using CVP's internal browser (IDC). Seems not possible because Yamaha restricted this browser only on their IDC site.

Hi!
Exactly. This was the first indication a couple of years ago that IDC was not going to take off in a serious manner at all despite their sales hoopla. They were initially talking about all kinds of things like people sharing knowledge through IDC (similar to CVPUG) but then they closed it down to only be their own net shop. And nothing has happened since.

This seems to me too restrictive! I know that they created the whole IDC idea in order to earn additional money from Yamaha keyboard users. Ok, that's fine with me, excellent idea, and why not to make some extra money from it.
I think that allowing users to freely browse other sites, share their performances, tutorials, etc. will only make stronger and better Yamaha community. Many members of it would spend additional money on IDC site too.
Restricting internal browser on IDC site only they did not ban me download files/styles/sounds from other sites. I can download it from Internet on my computer and transfer all these files via USB stick to CVP. If I had this possibility to direct internal browser on other sites I would download it directly on CVP. They only made it more inconvenient.

But in CVP user's guide there is topic explaining that you can change home page but if you try it, CVP will pop up some strange message and reject change.
