Hello fellow members,
Can any one help please, I need to update the Music finder system on my C.V.P.209 , I believe there is a disc available to make sense of the song list, has any member got this item and would you be willing to kindly download as a file that I could put on disc if this is possible.
Many thanks

The database that you need can be found at www.psrtutorial.com

Head for the Music Finder section and download the database for the 209. There are also some databases to use with 'Fake' books posted here. The PSR Tutorial site is an excellent resource for anyone with a Clavinova and is well worth a visit.

Anyone know how to convert the CVP-209 music finder database from http://psrtutorial.com to a format suitable for the CVP-208. I've tried converting with the MusicFinderView program, but that doesn't list the CVP-208. I tried converting to CVP-207, but still my Clavinova reports "STOP Can't use this file".

There is a music finder editor on the PSRTutorials site.

Download it and run it. Read in your music finder file. In the header (on the first sheet), change "209" to "208". Save the file. It should work now.

A quick update for any CVP-208/210 owners. Some style numbers have changed with the move from CVP-207 to CVP-208. I'm currently providing the author of the MusicFinder software with the style listings for the new models so that these can be incorporated into a future version.

Is there an update that will work for the CVP-900 to make sense of the titles? My dealer has promised to call Yamaha for 2 weeks now, but he just keeps forgetting....
