Hi All

Just a couple of things i don't like about my new 409, to my old 309 CVP.

1 They have removed the (Freeze Button) from the Main panel , which now involves pushing 3 buttons to get to it ,behind the display screen .

2 They have removed the ( HOLD Button) from the main Panel, which now you have to push button (Voice Effects) to go to main screen ,then button 1 to turn on.

3 They have removed the Digital Recording button from main Panel which now you have to press Function, to go to main screen then press button F,

4 They have removed the ( Fade in Fade out Button) now have to assigned a pedal to use this function,

Off the 4 things listed so far in my opining two of them where quite important things , which where quick to use , which is the Hold and Freeze buttons , which when i was talking to Tyros 2 owner would not like to loose on the new model that comes out .

There are a few other little bits of things like the (Part Select) for the voices which is not just as easy
to use,
This is just my thinking but it will be interesting to see what other 400xxx users thing
All in all i love the thing just wish i could do it justice by being able to play well, but get great pleasure from trying . And with the great help and encouragement on this forum who can go wrong
every day i keep getting nearer to posting my first song .

Phillip.

I agree with you. These are buttons that shouldn't have been removed. I miss some of them too (comparing to my PSR-1500). Not to say that pitch and modulation wheels (exist on PSR-1500 not CVP-309) I miss the most.
