I know from experience that not all keyboards are level in respect of the angle your hands are at when your playing. It took an age to get my 407 piano level however the keyboard is far from anything remotely level and leans away from me, being an engineer by trade i find this odd and a tad annoying.
I could make the keyboard level by tilting the unit but this is impractical since the level of tilt required is both too great and would render the foot pedals useless.
Its a small grip but noticeable if your used to playing a level keyboard, dose anyone else notice this ?
Must admit i do like my 407 and spend most of my free time playing it so i will probably become used to it in time.

Hi!
Maybe I am missing something and I apologize for the question, but why is it not sufficient for you to regulate the height of the bench on which you sit while playing ?
It is normally recommended that, while sitting in front of the keyboard, your arms should be in a horizontal position (i.e. the elbow and the wrist of an arm should be at the same height), with the fingers of each hand slightly bent towards the keyboard, following their natural articulation, so that you can hit each key by means of a vertical fall of the corresponding finger onto it, without needing to leave the horizontal position of arms.
This approach, basically, is the most usual one when practising technical exercises or medium-difficulty pieces at the piano.
In any case, it is unclear to me why you would like to have a tilted position of the keyboard.

adjusting the bench is irrelevant since the angle of the keys would stay the same
It is not the case that i should want the keyboard tilted rather the keyboard to be level
the drop taken from the front of the keys to the rear is aprox 4,5 mm. not a big amount but noticeable to someone used to a level keyboard

Hi!
I see your point now.
By watching carefully, I have noticed that also my CVP307 has seemingly the same level characteristics applied to its keys.
It might be a common CVP structural feature.

Hi!
Most professional keyboards have that I think. I'm not sure as I'm not a piano constructor, but I have a feeling I've seen it on accoustic pianos as well.
When you press the key, you'll notice that it is level in the down position. As I say I don't know the reason, but as an engineer yourself you must appreciate that it's been engineered that way for a reason. I suspect it has to do with the rate at which it bounces up to your fingers again after being pressed, making it easier to rapidly hit the same note again.
Do you have larger wheels on one end in your car to make the dashboard level too? The steering wheel is tilted as well, that must drive you crazy :D

Maybe a little cruel but: :D
I have no problems with the angle of the keyboard. But I'm no professional piano player, so what would I know?
