Voice recording / existing songs ?

One of the new feature of the 400 series is the voice recording (maybe already existing in 300 ?)
In the demo (video from uk) they show that it is possible to play on a recorded voice song (someone singing and you can play piano on it). I am wondering if it is possible to find this kind of pre recorded voice singer songs ? or do we have to find for a singer and ask to record a song ?
I hope my english is clear enough ... it is difficult to explain...

Hi,

Yes I have seen this video. This is a new feature with the 400 range. It is part of the usb audio recorder, which lets you play back any wave file. So you save a wave file to the usb key put it in the 405/7/9 ( and 403 ?) and play it back -while it plays back you can play along!!

But I don't know where you can find a wave file of just some one singing!! There might be software that can get rid of the other instruments and leave the voice but I don't know about it.

I think that digital (voice) recording (direct recording into raw WAV format on USB disk) is not possible in CVP-300 serie only CVP-400 serie! This new recording functionality allows you to play on your keyboard, sing along, input guitar or other sound source and (this will be digitalized) and all that record as single song. Amazing! Of course, any other manipulation of WAV file is not possible on CVP but having it on USB offers you many possibilities on PC.
