Hi,

I just purchased a CVP-109 ($1,600 for reference) and was wondering if there was some way to "lock" it to a piano only setting? This piano is both for myself and my 2.5 year old to learn to play and one of us just can't resist all those buttons...maybe both of us.

This may only be a 200 series feature but I thought I would check with the experts.

Thanks

Jim

I checked and there is no feature on the 9x and 10x models that allow you to lock out the features. I believe the 20x models do have such a feature.

Hi Wally,

Thanks for the info.

I read some of the manual for the 207/9 and yes they do have the lock feature and from my own research the 109 does not.

Ah well, I will have to live with it.

Don't worry, all the loose their novelty after a while. My daughters quite happily learning piano on it and only rarely wants to play with all the buttons any more.

I think the only time I've used the piano lock when I was flicking through the manuel and wanted to make sure it worked.
