Does anyone know how to do a chord clear? Your suppose to be able to add in percussion if your playing in the fingered mode.

What do you mean by 'chord clear' - I've not heard that term used before?

On the watch and learn videos they mention chord clear.
You can clear the chord your playing by playing a three note chord
then your suppose to be able to hit an adjacent key and get (for example) a symbol sound. But I haven't been able to duplicate
what they show. They do it so quickly its hard to see what they are playing. Hope this is a better explanation and I hope someone out there has been able to do this. It's a really nice feature to add to your music.

If you are in fingered (not multi-finger), pressing any three adjacent keys will kill the accompianment in the left hand. You still get the rhythm (drums), but not the voices.
In the sheet music I use, they call this a Tacet.

If you want the percussion without the accompaniment for a style, select the style and then turn off the ACMP button. You'll get the drums only.

I looked at the DVD mentioned and then tried the "clear chord" and what you have to do is hit any three adjacent key and you get a cymbal sound. Not sure why one would want to go through all this trouble for a cymbal sound.
The DVD and video does talk about it and demo it.
