Like in older models CVP-40x does have dual layer functionality where one can define one sound for left part of keyboard and two sounds for right1 and right2 parts. But in CVP-30x serie (like in PSR serie of keyboards) there are independent buttons for keyboard sound layers. In CVP-40x there's only one button called "Dual (right2)" that can be used to switch on/off right2 layer on right1. That means that you cannot play only right2, just right1 if you want one layer or both right1 and right2 layers. I wish independent keyboard part right1 and right2 buttons back.
