Holiday Music Styles

Hey folks!

It's been a long time since I've been here (April I believe), but I've been extremely busy and haven't been online much. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for style files. With the upcoming holidays, the built-in Christmas styles (Christmas Swing and Christmas Waltz) are a little too limiting. I am willing to purchase them, but have been unable to find anywhere that sells them (including Yamaha's musicsoft site).

Any help would be appreciated!

I know that there a couple of people who produce third party styles that regularly monitor that forum. What I do not know is whether their styles would be compatible with a CVP. However, if you post your question I am sure that you will get a response as it is a very active forum.

I would be interested to know how you make out.

Check out www.psrtutorial.com

There are hundreds of styles here all available for free download. Although the site refers to the Yamaha PSR range of keyboards and the Tyros, the styles work equally well on the CVP.

I looked for Christmas styles last year. After searching the web, I decided to buy them from www.svpworld.com.

However, I have to say I was disappointed. Most styles available on the web are generic -- ie, not specific to the CVP 200 series, so they don't use all the features.

I came to the conclusion that using the CVP's internal styles for Christmas songs worked best.
