Recording with accompaniment

I have a CVP109 and can't record with the accompaniment on. Anybody know how to do this? It records, but the background is just a clicking noise.

I can almost remember how to do it. It's been a very long time, but essentially you have to set the MIDI OUT to output all channels directly to the MIDI OUT port. It's buried in MIDI control pages on your display, if I'm not mistaken.

I noticed this the first time I tried MIDI on my CVP209 - all you do is select the Function Key (grey button two below demo), then MIDI, then select the first option which is All MIDI - make sure you select it, as it may appear to be highighted already, but is not active (well, wasn't on mine).

Sorry if 109 has different screens...
